Welding
Welding in its various forms is required in a variety of fields including agriculture mechanics, automotive, construction, HVAC, and manufacturing. Our welding program will help students gain basic proficiency in Stick, MIG, and TIG welding. Learn the basics from a certified welder in a fully outfitted metalworking lab. Interested students can earn college credit through Sierra College upon completion of the course. This is a fee-based class.Auto Mechanics
As technology advances so does the auto industry. At MSA, we offer a basic automotive class which introduces the basics of auto mechanics and general automotive maintenance. This class is a great class for those who may be interested in a field in automotive but have no experience or for the average car owner that simply wants to be able to understand and do general service on their own vehicle. This is a fee-based class.
Food Service Industry
Foodservice is a growing industry. If you are interested in looking to cook and find a job in “the back of the house” or learn “front of the house” operations such as hosting and serving or simply want to brush up on your culinary skills MSA’s culinary class might be right for you. Along with the skills taught in this class, students who complete this class will have the chance to take the food handler’s test and receive the certification required to work in any food service job within California. This is a fee-based class.
ParaEducator Certificate
If you have volunteered to work in schools and are looking to take the next step and find gainful employment working in a school MSA has the program for you! MSA offers an online training program that upon successful completion you will have your certification that is required to be employed by schools to work in the classroom as a paraeducator.This is a fee-based class.
